Summary: HaflaBox does not require you to create an account. We do not sell your data. Your event planning information stays in your browser. When you contact a vendor, that conversation is directly between you and them via WhatsApp.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the HaflaBox service: • Event profile data you enter voluntarily (event type, date, guest count, location, service preferences, budget). This data is stored locally in your browser session and is not sent to our servers unless you explicitly share it. • Usage analytics such as pages visited and features used, collected anonymously to improve the platform. • Contact information only if you reach out to us directly (e.g., via WhatsApp or email). We do not require account registration and therefore do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers unless you contact us.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information collected is used solely to: • Improve the functionality and user experience of HaflaBox. • Respond to your inquiries. • Understand which features are most valuable to our users. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. WhatsApp Interactions
When you click a "Contact on WhatsApp" or "Send Request" button, HaflaBox generates a pre-filled WhatsApp message using your event profile data and opens it in the WhatsApp application or website. This interaction is between you and the vendor directly. HaflaBox does not intercept, store, or have access to these WhatsApp conversations. WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy governs those interactions.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
HaflaBox uses browser local storage to temporarily remember your event profile during your session. This data remains on your device and is cleared when you reset your profile or close your browser. We may use first-party analytics cookies (such as those provided by Vercel Analytics) to understand platform usage. These are anonymous and do not track you across other websites.
5. Third-Party Services
HaflaBox uses the following third-party services: • Unsplash — for vendor and event imagery. Images are subject to Unsplash's Terms of Service. • Vercel — for hosting and performance analytics. • Sanity.io — for content management (vendor data). Data stored in Sanity is subject to Sanity's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention
Event profile data you enter is stored in your browser session only and is not transmitted to or stored on HaflaBox servers. We do not retain personal event planning data.
